The business has nine employees.  Funds serve as a source for debt consolidation and working capital, thereby drastically improving the cash flow of the business.

$175,000 - $100,000 Term Loan / $75,000 Line of Credit

CSI provided $135k to a Subcontractor specializing in industrial pipe installation, demolition and maintenance for manufacturing plants.  Clients are located in the Shenandoah Valley area of Virginia.  The business has three employees.  Funds were used to purchase specific equipment needed for a major project, future fabrication shop and working capital to cover new employees required for major project.

$150,000 - Term Loan

CSI provided $150k to an Engineering contracting firm, specializing in providing security and monitoring systems primarily to county government agencies.  Clients include agencies in Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania localities.  The business also performs service and maintenance contracts. The business has six employees.  The loan was to enable the owners to purchase the business from a corporation who was liquidating its Richmond operations.  Proceeds also provided initial working capital for normal operating expenses until the borrowers could establish its own accounts receivables.

$300,000 - Line of Credit

CSI approved $300k to a General Contracting company specializing in installing navigational aids and security systems.  This borrower works primarily with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the eastern part of the United States.  The business also worked as subcontractor with Johnson Controls, Lockheed-Martin, Raytheon and many other larger companies on projects associated with the FAA.  The business has four employees.  The line of credit serves as working capital for Department of Transportation (DOT) contract at JFK Airport and Santa Maria Public Airport in CA.
